If the work is performed using a broker, the price of the intermediary's services must be taken into consideration.

Ways of Transportation

When planning a route, the specialists of the MW-Trade transport company take into account the type of products, the customers’ wishes, and their financial ability. Extensive practical experience allows us to optimize costs, making delivery to St. Petersburg profitable. Road freight from European countries is most in-demand one. Geographical location and well-developed infrastructure make it possible to carry consignments of spare parts and components in a short time. Trucking of oversize, bulky, heavy equipment is considered especially popular. In our work, we pay attention to the condition of the vehicle and use only modern, fully serviceable trucks.

Air freight is the fastest way to send goods abroad and deliver them to Russia. A high degree of reliability, guaranteed safety when moving ‒ this is what makes air transportation popular among customers.

Sea freight is a long-term option for cases where there are no time limits. This mode allows you to transport large volumes of goods with minimum payment.

We will prepare a full set of supporting documents, help to obtain the necessary certificates, permits, licenses, correctly declare products, and calculate customs payments. If necessary, we will resolve the issues that may arise at the customs, we will involve an expert at any stage of the verification process.

The following standard list of documents will be required for customs clearance of spare parts:

  • International Trade Contract concluded with a supplier or manufacturer, confirmation of payment;
  • statutory documents of the enterprise;
  • specifications;
  • invoice;
  • packing list;
  • transportation services agreement;
  • currency control document;
  • permits, certificates;
  • declaration;
  • receipts for payment of customs duties.

A specific list of documents is created for each specific type of cargo. MW-Trade experts will assist you in preparing and obtaining all the necessary documentation.

Importation from the EAEU countries stipulates a simplified scheme and payment of VAT only. When importing auto parts from Poland, additional consignment notes and certificates may be required. All import and export procedures must be carried out strictly in accordance with legal regulations and international rules.

Customs Clearance Cost

Depending on the type of a spare part and the code in the CN FEA classifier, legal entities pay a customs duty of 5% (for most components) and VAT of 20%. For individuals, duty-free limits are set on the import of spare parts for personal use: the weight mustn’t exceed 25 kg, and the cost mustn’t exceed 500 EUR. Otherwise, 4 EUR per each kg of cargo must be paid.
