How to Deliver Perishable Cargo
All types of vehicles delivering foodstuffs must have a sanitary passport. For transportation of meat, carcass trucks, refrigerators and isothermal vans are used. Containers are thoroughly sanitized. Before loading, a check of working order of all technical devices is carried out. There are a number of rules for loading meat products:
- chilled meat may not be transported with other types of food
- chilled and frozen products must be transported separately
- products must be stacked tightly

Customs Clearance
Flaws in customs clearance documents will lead to an increase in its time. If they are found, it is important to quickly make corrections and pay fines. It is worth to take into account that not all checkpoints have warehouses with the necessary temperature regime.
When foodstuffs are imported, a veterinary control is carried out, during which the checking of phytosanitary certificate and Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) permission is carried out, inspection of the consignment of products, checking of labeling, name, consignment note, as well as information about the consignor and recipient are carried out. If violations are detected, samples may be taken for laboratory control. After that the authorized representative decides on the release, suspension or ban on importation. The duration of veterinary control is 30-90 minutes.
